《吾讲斯美》里有一首美国诗人华莱士·史蒂文斯的《战士之死》，翻译的很是文雅。据说该书作者李雾是前中国驻联合国的翻译，功力果然深厚啊，更有《翻译救国》一文可看。
战士之死 The Death of a Soldier

生何速兮死可期 Life contracts and death is expected,
汝命殒兮秋肃起 As in a season of autumn, The soldier falls.
逝三日兮君未啼 He does not become a three-day personage,
此去无意招魂礼 Imposing his separation, Calling of pomp.
神永绝兮谨莫祭 Death is absolute and without memorial,
秋已深兮风亦息 As in a season of autumn, When the wind stops.
风语咽兮天道弥 When the wind stops and, over the heavens,
崇云依然健飞急 The clouds go, nevertheless, In their direction.
我一直不覺得翻譯成中國古詩的形式是一種好方式
To shizhao：个人喜好问题，我总觉得诗还是要古诗词才美。新诗只是断句的散文罢了。
带兮的是不是属于离骚体啊？我觉得翻译成七言五言的更好一些。
